Principal's Message

In a world torn by conflicts and differences in social, economic and political realms we must try to evolve new ways of resolving problems and open doors to a brand new world of potential solutions and perceptions. Positively, education is not teaching a child to just read, write and become proficient in the curriculum subjects. This would surely make a child literate but not educated. Education means an all round development of human potential and personality – physical, mental, moral and spiritual. Ordinarily, ‘all round development of child’ is construed to be the primary constituent of “good education”. Hence a school providing an excellent academic environment integrated with a large number of sports and other co-curricular activities would very nicely fit in the definition of a school providing good education. We must remember that human mind is our fundamental resource. Thus, it is essential that we work towards the maximum development of every young mind. Only then we will be able to address our requirements of world leadership, our hopes for economic growth and our demands of able citizenships.

Let us together pledge to inculcate in our children the true values of life. We have to teach them time and again the difference of good and bad, to overcome evil with good, set examples for them to follow and by so doing we have done far more than our duty. In a letter to his son’s principal the then US president Abraham Lincoln had written ‘teach my son that it is more honourable to fail than to cheat and pass’. There can be no school without society and no society without school. School and parents together have to join hands in imparting good values to the children. I would like to conclude by stating that if we have good character and brilliant mind, we need not to have any other asset.
